DANIELE SABATINI

Born in Rome but raised in Australia, Daniele Sabatini began studying violin in Melbourne at the age of seven, under the guidance of Maestros Toni Robson and Haruo Goto. As a soloist and in chamber music ensembles, he has performed in Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Sweden, Tunisia, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. In addition to numerous duo concerts, Daniele has also had the opportunity to perform with artists such as Ilya Grubert, Enrico Bronzi, Konstantin Bogino, Michael Flaksman, Oliver Kern, Amalia Hall, Paolo Bonomini, and Francesco Fiore.

 

As a soloist, he has performed on several occasions with the Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra, performing two Mendelssohn concertos—the Violin Concerto in D minor and the Concerto for Violin, Piano, and Orchestra. He has also performed as a soloist with the Romænsemble and the String Orchestra of the International Music Academy of Rome.

 

In addition to his chamber music activities, Daniele is highly sought after as Concertmaster. He has regularly held this position with the Benevento Philharmonic Orchestra, the Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra, the Roma Tre Orchestra, and the Accademia di Santa Sofia Chamber Orchestra, collaborating with conductors such as Nicolò Umberto Foron, Jordi Bernàcer, Francesco Lanzillotta, Sieva Borzak, and Nicolò Jacopo Suppa. With the Accademia di Santa Sofia, he recently served as solo violinist on a new commission by composer Piero Niro.

 

In July 2025, he was invited to be concertmaster of the National Orchestra of Italian Conservatories for a concert included in the season of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, under the direction of Michele Spotti. In September 2023, he was also invited by the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto to hold the same role on a tour of the main Umbrian theaters.

 

In 2019, he earned a master's degree in violin with honors and special mention from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. Daniele studied with Maestro Marco Fiorentini at the AIMR Academy in Rome and has attended masterclasses with Sergey Girshenko, Felix Ayo, Roberto Gonzalez-Monjas, Benjamin Schmid, and Evgenia Epshtein. He is currently attending the prestigious Solistenexamen course at the University of Music Karlsruhe, where he studies with Maestro Sergey Khachatryan.
