DANIELE SABATINI
Born in Rome but raised in Australia, Daniele Sabatini’s violin has taken him around the globe. As a soloist and in chamber ensembles, he has performed for audiences in Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Sweden, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and the United States of America. Aside from his many concerts with duo partner Simone Rugani, Daniele, an avid chamber musician, has also had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Ilya Grubert, Konstantin Bogino, Michael Flaksman, Laura Pietrocini and Elena Denisova.
In November 2019, he performed Mozart’s A major Violin Concerto with Romænsemble in the final round of the VII International Annarosa Taddei Competition for Piano and Violin soloists, winning 3rd prize. He has also performed multiple times as a soloist with the string orchestra of the Accademia Internazionale Musicale di Roma, and was selected as solo violinist for the premiere of Paolo Fradiani’s “Chants” at the Società Aquilana dei Concerti.
In 2019, Daniele obtained his Master’s Diploma in Violin Performance at Conservatorio “S. Cecilia” in Rome with honors and special mention. In masterclasses, he has learnt from violinists like Sergey Girshenko, Felix Ayo, Benjamin Schmid and Evgenia Epshtein, and is currently studying with Marco Fiorentini at the AIMR Academy in Rome.
